Why Self portraits?

Not only are our children's self portraits so much fun to see, the act of creating a Self portrait is a great opportunity for children to sit, observe and reflect on themselves. With the information they have gathered in their self exploration, they are able express their thoughts and observations on paper in creating a beautiful, and totally unique work of art!
