Aster & Bee Lovely Community Giveback Launch

Upon opening our shop we made a conscious decision that living and working in our community meant that we needed to work hard to strengthen, stabilize and maintain our neighbors and surrounding Portland business' and schools. 

Since our opening 4 months ago we have made contributions to... 

~Oya No Kai

~ Atkinson Elementary school

~The Northwest Children's theatre

& more. 

We will continue to build upon this foundation of giving with the launch of our new giveback program. 

We are so excited to announce the launch of our 

lovely Community Giveback program 

on March 12, 2011. 

 Why we wanted to start a community giveback program?

The honeybee is a social insect that can survive only as a member of a community, or colony. Honeybees spend their entire lives establishing, strengthening and maintaining their hive and their community.

The honeybee is only as healthy as it’s hive.

Inspired by the social and communal instinct, our little pollinating friends have inspired us to make a commitment to strengthen and maintain our community.

Aster & Bee is dedicated to supporting our local community starting with our

children and locally run non-profit organizations.

We are only as healthy as our hive.

Aster & Bee Lovely Community give back program.

How it works…

When your friends and family shop at Aster & Bee, 3 % of their total purchase goes directly to your registered school or non-profit program in cumulative monthly payments.

It’s easy…

Participants, friends, and families simply let us know upon checkout which registered group they are shopping for.  

No need to pre-purchase scrip or register your credit card through an online donation center. 

Nothing to carry, nothing to show.

Shopping to donate is made very easy for you and for your program.
