Mothers Day poll..."Fun Day with the Fam" has the most votes today!

Recently we polled our Facebook fans and asked what they would like to have for Mothers day.  Leading the poll today is a 
"Fun Day with the Fam". 
In light of our current poll winner I thought I would share some fun local activities to help with your Mother's Day planning.

Date: 5/5-5/8
COST: "Adults: $6.00  13 and older
Child: $3.00 6 years to 12 years
Seniors: 62 yrs and older $4.00
Children under 6 years old - FREE compliments of VERIZON WIRELESS"
Where: Portland's Waterfront Park

The first of many Waterfront festivals for the Spring/Summer here in Portland. 
Enjoy fantastic food, great carnival rides and some authentic South American Arts & Culture. 

Date: Saturday May 7th
What: "Songs and stories about birds, make your own binoculars and vulture planes, gardening for the birds, bird feeders, live birds from Audubon, Bird Olympics, build an eagle's nest, identification of bird songs, and many other activities are included. Birding walks will be led by naturalists every half hour beginning at 9 AM until 2 PM. Food will be available for purchase from Koi Fusion."-from web-site

There is a great cafe at the Museum perfect for lunch while you're there!

Play in the yard!


Kids love to get dirty in the garden! Grab some kid-sized tools and gloves and bring them out with you! 

Spend the day tilling the dirt, examine some bugs, plant some seeds...
sounds lovely!

Game day in your Pajama's...

One f our favorite weekend activities (especially on those rainy Sundays) is to stay in our Pj's and have game day! 
What you need:
A few great games
Your comfiest PJ's
Favorite Blanket
Hot chocolate or Tea

We have some great games to keep the whole family entertained for game day. 

 We have games for everyone in your family, 2-202. :) 
Our cooperative games will keep the family working together as you navigate to the "winning" spot as a team!
