New Years is almost here and I've gathered a few Family Friendly new years party idea's from Martha Stewart and I thought I would share with you all.
Make your own party hats!!
You can use any paper, ribbon or pizzazz you want to make these hats your own!! Lay out all the paper party hat makin's and let the kids have fun!! I like this particular template because you and your children can use it as a guide and take this in so many directions. I'm thinking we will include some feathers left over form our Halloween crafting project!
Grapes at Midnight
While you're toasting the New Year with champagne, let kids celebrate with a Spanish custom: eating 12 grapes at midnight for good luck all year long. Fill a champagne flute for every child older than 3 with a dozen grapes; they can eat one for every chime as the clock strikes midnight.
Bubble wrap hop!!
I thought this was such a cute idea. With all that extra bubble wrap lying around form Holiday packages this is a great way to "re-use" the bubble wrap rather than throwing it away. The Aster & Bee family on New Years Eve 2010...
At the Jenssen house this year my husband, our daughter and I will be entertaining two good family friends from out of town. We decided to add a little twist to our usual pajama New Years Eve party by getting all dressed up! Our daughter LOVES any reason to get "fancy". We plan on watching movies, eating homemade sweets and fun finger foods while playing games by the fire in our fanciest gowns and suits. It will be great!
The Jackson's are big movie lovers and will spend New years Eve either at the movies (weather permitting) or at home watching some of their old favorites. They will definitely be playing some games, eating good food and having fun as they bring in new year in with their adorable dog Ella.
We are all very excited for the New year and all the opportunities it will bring to our business, and our family.
Cheers for a safe, healthy, happy and prosperous new year
from the Jackson and Jenssen's
to all of you!!
Cheers!
Alexis Jenssen
