Why we think Stainless Steel bottles are better than Aluminum. 

• Stainless steel bottles are typically less expensive than aluminum.
• Stainless Steel is a neutral metal and doesn't leach - Aluminum bottles have a film to prevent the metal from leaching into your water. 

There has been ongoing "political" vs. "scientific" dispute among big name Aluminum bottle manufacturers and the presence of BPA in their lining. 

I wanted to tell you about these great stainless steel bottles, sippy cups and sports bottles from Kid Basix!! Food Grade lightweight stainless steel Toxin free!!! BPA free!! 

The Safe Sippy is made of durable lightweight food grade stainless steel. The bottle is non-leaching and toxin free. According to Kid Basix "Recent research has revealed that the wide drinking spouts found on many sippy cups can cause physical and speech development problems in children." These findings inspired the "straw-shaped" spouts which are better for developing mouths. The handles are removable so they grown with your child. The easy to grip cover and handles make this style particularly kid friendly. 

That rubbery sleeve is Thermo plastic rubber. It insulates the cup when cold liquids are put inside. It also acts as a cushion for those inevitable "Opps..I dropped it" moments. 

The insulation aspect of the TPR sleeve is great!! On hot summer days my daughter brought the Safe Sporter to all her Softball games. We packed it with ice assuming it would melt away like it did with her old aluminum sports bottles. THE ICE NEVER MELTED.  Her water was as refreshing and cool at the end of a  90 degree 2 game tournament day as when we packed it hours earlier.
